Executive Summary
Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. will pay €9.6bn ($13.7bn) in cash to acquire privately held Nycomed International Management GMBH (branded and OTC products). The deal excludes Nycomed’s US dermatology business Nycomed US Inc., which will spin off into an independent company.
