Executive Summary
Kythera Biopharmaceuticals (formerly AestheRx) has raised $30mm with its Series B venture round. Prospect Venture Partners (new backer) and Arch Venture Partners (existing shareholder) co-led the financing and were joined by current investor Versant Ventures as well as new participants Altitude Life Science Ventures (managed by GF Private Equity Group), the UCLA Venture Fund, and the Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati Investment Company.
