Executive Summary
VLST Corp. (developing drugs to regulate immune responses) has raised $20mm in the first of a three-tranche Series B private placement that has a total value of $55mm based on the achievement of certain milestones. The tranche was led by Texas Pacific Group Ventures and included existing backers MPM Capital, ARCH Venture Partners, OVP Venture Partners, and Amgen Ventures. New buyers MedImmune Ventures and WRF Capital (associated with the Washington Research Foundation) also participated.
