Cell therapeutics company Ceregene (division of Cell Genesys) announced the first closing (undisclosed amount) of a $32mm Series B financing round. Alta Partners and MPM Capital co-led the tranche, and were joined by Hamilton-Apex Technology Ventures, California Technology Ventures, and Cell Genesys.
