Guidant acquired exclusive worldwide rights to use MediVas's (develops cardiovascular therapeutics and diagnostics) fully bioabsorbable, amino acid-based polymers with any drugs it sells in the "rolimus" family. It also receives nonexclusive rights to use them with other therapeutics.
