Pfizer signs on to Celera's databases

Pfizer signed up for access to Celera Genomics genomic databases, and the companies also entered into a gene discovery agreement. Under the latter, Pfizer will get, on a nonexclusive basis, a large number of genes identified by Celera in its effort to sequence the entire human genome, which are hopefully drug targets. Celera will also offer these genes to its other subscribers.
