Biocon Launches U.S. Breast Cancer Drug Abraxane in India
India's Biocon began marketing Abraxane (paclitaxel) in the country for treating breast cancer. Biocon licensed the drug last year from Abraxis BioSciences of the United States. The drug already is approved in 35 countries, but Biocon seeks to feed a growing need for the drug in India.
