Following a highly successful inaugural event in September 2022, the Citeline Pharma Intelligence Awards Japan are returning to Tokyo this October and will gather together hundreds of leaders to recognize the latest outstanding contributions and innovative breakthroughs in the Japanese pharma and biotech industry.
These trusted awards provide a platform for global recognition, acknowledging standout organizations and products across eight distinct categories - including Best New Drug, Biotech Company of the Year and Best Contract Research Organization/Best Contract Development Manufacturing Organization. New for 2023, the Financing Deal of the Year Award will also shine a light on successful fundraising strategies for drug discovery and company development.
Ian Haydock, Tokyo-based Editor-in-Chief for APAC, said: “Innovation has a dramatic effect on the health of millions of patients around the world. After the success of last year’s inaugural awards, we’re looking forward to uniting the industry again to showcase a new group of pioneers in Japanese pharma and biotech.”
Applicants are welcomed from any pharmaceutical or biotech company operating in Japan, or those primarily doing business in Japan. Entries are strictly confidential, with all judges required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Our panel of highly experienced, expert judges - all of whom have direct experience either in or of the Japanese market - has also been expanded this year.
Entries are now open and will close on 10 July 2023. Judging will take place over August and September and the winners will be announced at a prestigious networking dinner and ceremony at the Palace Hotel in central Tokyo on 17 October 2023.
Further details, including individual category descriptions and criteria, along with sponsorship opportunities and table bookings, are available at this dedicated website. The parallel Japanese-language site for the event is here.
Good luck and we look forward to seeing you in Tokyo in October!
