WHO's second global forum on medical devices scheduled for 2012

The World Health Organization is planning to hold its second global forum on medical devices in 20121,2. The WHO expects that by then, all of the 15 priority recommendations identified by stakeholders during the first medtech forum (held in Bangkok, Thailand, in September last year3,4), including some priority regulatory actions, will have been implemented.
