Executive Summary
The US Food and Drug Administration has entered into a co-operative agreement with the Pan American Health Organization to create an online database that will hold information about medical products and related regulatory processes and systems for countries in the Americas region1,2. Among other things, the database is expected to support regulatory harmonisation between the FDA and PAHO member states, and prevent problems in the medical product supply chain.
