EU to revise animal tissue device directive by 2011

The European Commission is working to revise Directive 2003/32/EC concerning medical devices that incorporate tissues of animal origin with the possibility of an amended document being adopted in the second semester of 2011, a commission spokesperson told RAJ Devices1.
