BSI alerts stakeholders on updated European arterial stent standards

UK standards body BSI has issued an alert to remind stakeholders that the European standard on non-active surgical implants that denotes particular requirements for cardiac and vascular implants and specific requirements for arterial stents will, as of 21 March, not be adequate to show conformity to the Medical Devices Directive1.
