Irish Medicines Board: serving patients is the ultimate goal

Pat O’Mahony, the Irish Medicines Board’s Chief Executive, is a very busy man, successfully juggling his duties at the country’s medicines agency with those performed as the European Medicines Agency's Chair of the Management Board. In fact, under his management, the IMB has significantly increased its involvement in the EU structures and improved its operational effectiveness.
