UK medicines agency raises fees in line with increased workload

Executive Summary
The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is set to raise its fees for a number of procedures from 1 April 2009. Aimed at increasing MHRA income from fees by 3% in the forthcoming financial year, the fee revision will also see certain contributions abolished.
