Executive Summary
SBIO Pte. Ltd. was founded in 2000 as a joint venture between Chiron and the Singapore Economic Development Board Investments. The mission was to start a research center that would eventually become more of an independent biotech. In the intervening years, SBIO has developed expertise in a wide variety of fields, including computational chemistry, molecular screening, chemical synthesis, protein biology, biomarkers, and disease models, as well as clinical and regulatory functions. SBIO now bills itself as Singapore's "first fully integrated drug discovery company."
