Cell Works Inc.'s Circulating Cancer Cell Test can detect and characterize tumor cells in blood by separating cancer cells from the rest of the sample and scanning them in its automated microscope system. Cell Works hopes that its non-invasive tests will enable earlier disease intervention, and that its forthcoming informatics program will serve as a springboard into the prognostics and therapeutics arenas.
