Singapore researchers say they have found a new way to treat NK/T-cell lymphoma, with a drug already approved for treating rheumatoid arthritis. The cancer is an aggressive form of cancer more common among Asians, but rare in Caucasians. The research team said the approval timeline of a treatment could be cut because the drug is already set to undergo clinical trials as a lymphoma treatment, ready for the market as early as five years from now.
