Executive Summary
As a new measure to promote generic drug use, the Japan Generics Association will establish a website to provide generic drug information to physicians and pharmacists starting in April. The website will offer simple tools to compare brand drug costs with generics and savings to patients. JGA hopes the new measure will help expand the generics substitution rate in Japan.
