Abbott Helps Set Up China's First Children's Clinical Nutrition Center

China's first children's clinical nutrition center has officially started operations in Shanghai. Abbott Charitable Foundation, Project HOPE International and Shanghai Children's Medical Center jointly set up the facility to improve the nutritional status of children locally. The center will boost the country's nutritional development of children with evidence-based nutrition research data, and will provide professional physicians and nurses with best clinical practices and training courses in the field, as well as formulate nutritional guidelines for children with potential risk. In addition, it will conduct a series of clinical trials, a nationwide survey and public education, as well as promote research and cultivate skills relevant for children's nutrition and health.
