An Australian laboratory may hold the key to an accurate judgment of the spread and possible mutation of the H1N1 virus in the Asia-Pacific area. The Anne Kelso Laboratory in Melbourne is collecting virus samples from around the region and could be able to indicate the size and strength of a new round of infections expected in Europe and North America later this year.
