MHLW Director Arrested For Abusing Postal Discount System

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's director of Equal Employment, Children and Families Atsuko Muraki was arrested June 15 for abusing a postal discount system for the disabled. The Osaka authority charged Muraki for ordering fake documents in order to receive postal discounts reserved for organizations serving the disabled. Osaka police also searched both Muraki and her former boss's offices and homes. The arrest of a current director has shocked the Ministry. (Click here for more - Japanese Language
