Charles River Japan Joins Totori Prefecture In Biotechnology Development

Executive Summary

Totori University Medical School developed a technology that produces mice with human liver DNA. The prefecture has established a Totori Bio Frontier at the school to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies. Developed by a team led by Mitsuo Oshimura, the mice can be used in clinical trials to shorten drug development time.
