Bayer Continues Aid For Earthquake-Struck Areas In Sichuan

Bayer officially kicked off its fourth phase of Bayer Cares program in Mianzhu, Sichuan. The latest phase comprises small credit loans and health training projects. The loans, jointly organized by Bayer and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, will provide capital for the micro-credit foundation to support reconstruction of earthquake-stricken areas; the training programs will train physicians from community, hamlet and township hospitals as well as impart knowledge to residents on improving local healthcare conditions.
