Malaysia’s CCM To Increase Share Of Nation’s Generics Market

Chemical Company of Malaysia plans to expand its role in the country's generics market by the end of this year, thanks to completion of a new research unit. The director of CCM's pharmaceutical division said generic drugs comprise about 25 percent of the Malaysian pharmaceutical market, and with the new facility, CCM should be able to increase its share of the generics sector by at least two points, to 23 percent.
