China Still Approves Celebrity-Based Drug Ads Despite Ban

Despite a government crackdown on the use of actors posing as medical experts to promote drugs, China apparently is still allowing celebrities to promote them in commercials. Commercials have been showing on television stations around the country featuring celebrities, including soccer star David Beckham promoting a drug similar to Pfizer's Viagra (sildenafil).
