FDA international commissioner appointed
FDA appoints Lou Valdez as associate commissioner for international programs, a role in which she will lead implementation of FDA's international programs. Valdez previously served as deputy director in the HHS Office of Global Health Affairs, where she led the development of U.S. government policy positions.
