China Otsuka Pharmaceutical Completes First Construction Stage Of Tianjin Project

Executive Summary
China Otsuka Pharmaceutical has recently completed stage one construction of its phase two project in Tianjin and is pressing ahead with equipment installation and testing. The production facility is scheduled to formally start operation in early 2009 and will help boost the economy of the Xiqing district. With total investment of RMB 400 million, the phase two project is designed for an annual output of 30 million soft bags and 30 million plastic bottles for transfusion.
