Clinton Foundation Makes Huge HIV/AIDS Buy From India’s Cipla

Executive Summary

The foundation of former U.S. President Bill Clinton has made a large buy of pediatric antiretroviral drugs from India's Cipla. The drugs are to be distributed by the Clinton Foundation in 62 developing countries with most of the children with HIV/AIDS. A Cipla physician said the firm was chosen in part because it is one of only a few companies with a pediatric dosage of the AIDS drug.
