GE Healthcare Provides Olympic Committee With ECG Facilities

GE Healthcare announced it will provide the Chinese Olympic Committee with advanced ECG facilities and technology to diagnose athletes' cardiac condition and ensure they achieve their best performance during the Beijing Games. The devices include two MAC Resting ECG machines, one Dash 4000 monitoring device and a set of Case stress systems (incorporating a treadmill). With GE's equipment and technologies, doctors-even those across long distances-can easily store and retrieve athletes' data to rapidly and accurately evaluate their health.
