China To Shift SFDA To Ministry Of Health, More Authority

China's State FDA would be placed under the Ministry of Health as part of a proposed government shakeup and merger of ministries. The SFDA and the MOH now report separately to the State Council. As a result of the move, the MOH is to become the nation's top food and drug agency.
