India's government has plans to create at least 20 additional biotech parks in the country to promote life sciences research. The country already has three biotech parks functioning, with another due under an agreement signed with the Wellcome Trust of Britain. But the Union minister of Science and Technology said a shortage of trained personnel could hamper the expansion effort.
