Medical Equipment Of India’s L&T To Continue, Firm’s Filing Says

India's Larsen and Toubro, an engineering company, said it not only plans to continue its Medical Equipment & Systems business, it plans to introduce new health care products. The company confirmed its intention, contradicting previous suggestions it would close the business, in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange. The filing said L&T would build up its MED business and construct a manufacturing facility in Mysore.
