Takeda Establishes Two Subsidiaries In Singapore

Takeda announced the establishment of two subsidiaries in Singapore Sept. 25 to conduct clinical trials with an initial investment of SGD 5 million. Takeda has conducted fewer clinical trials in Southeast Asia compared to other regions; Takeda Research Singapore will look to expand Takeda's clinical trial presence in the region. Another subsidiary will focus on product marketing and sales. Takeda views Singapore as a hub to connect Japan with Europe and the U.S., as well as with the rest of Asia and Oceania.
