Yoshiki Kawabata became president of Baxter Ltd., based in Tokyo, effective Jan. 15. Kawabata formerly was with Johnson & Johnson, serving as VP of operations at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and later Senior VP, overseeing operations of five divisions.
