Japanese Researchers Make New Stem Cell Discovery (Japan)

The Japanese research team that recently made headlines by creating stem cells from skin announced success in making stem cells without a cancer gene that had been relied on in the previous work. The new procedure is, however, considered less efficient that the former, researchers said.
