Executive Summary
Spanish biopharma company Laboratoris Sanifit S.L. has appointed Dr Preston S. Klassen chief medical officer and president of its new US subsidiary, Sanifit Inc. Klassen joins the business from Orexigen Therapeutics, where he headed the global development team as executive vice president. He previously held various positions at Amgen Inc., including therapeutic area head for nephrology, prior to which he was a faculty member at Duke University’s division of nephrology for five years.
