EMA Elects Wirthumer-Hoche Chair

The European Medicines Agency's (EMA) management board has elected Christa Wirthumer-Hoche chair for a three-year period. Wirthumer-Hoche is head of the Austrian Medicines and Medical Devices Agency and co-chair of the EU Network Training Centre. She has served as vice-chair of the EMA's management board since March 2015 and was previously chair of the EMA's Active Substance Master File Working Group.
