Executive Summary
The US trade group PhRMAhas appointed Dr Bob Filippone and Tom Moore to the positions of vice-president for federal government affairs. Dr Filippone joined PhRMA in 2004 and has focused on various legislative and policy issues, including intellectual property protection. Mr Moore rejoined PhRMA in May after working as director of international corporate affairs for Amgen. Both men have Democratic political ties.
