Tecnimede joins Spanish generics association

The Tecnimede group is the 27thcompany to join AESEG, Spain's generic medicines association. The privately owned group is based in Portugal but has a presence in 30 markets and a portfolio of over 40 generic medicines. Tecnimede is made up of three companies that specialise in commercialisation – Tecnimede, Pentafarma and Farmoz; two production facilities – West Pharma and Atlantic Pharma; and an R&D plant – Labor Qualitas. AESEG represents pharmaceutical companies that develop, produce and market generic medicines and firms that produce active ingredients.
