Vanda names chief commerical officer

Vanda Pharmaceuticals has named Tom Gibbs senior vice-president and chief commercial officer of the company. Mr Gibbs has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including several senior-level leadership roles in global sales and marketing. Prior to joining Vanda he was vice-president of worldwide commercial operations at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr Gibbs held the position of vice-president of US sales for Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics.
