Roche names new global head, oncology

Swiss big pharma Roche has named Dr Dietmar Berger global head of clinical development for oncology and hematology. He succeeds Dr Sandra Homing in the position, who was promoted to chief medical officer at the company in January 2014. Previously Dr Berger was vice-president of global clinical development for HER2 breast cancer medicines at Roche. He has more than 20 years' experience in cancer, including as a former practising oncologist.
