Patel succeeds Waddill as OncoMed CFO

OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage company developing novel therapeutics that target cancer stem cells, or tumor-initiating cells, has named Sunil Patel chief financial officer, and senior vice-president of corporate development and finance. Mr Patel, who has worked at OncoMed since 2009, most recently as senior vice-president and chief business office, succeeds William Waddill who is leaving OncoMed to join a private company.
