Galena BioPharma has named Dr Brian Hamilton executive vice-president and chief medical officer. Prior to joining Portland, Oregon-based Galena Dr Hamilton was a partner and vice-president of private consulting firm Biopharm Solutions. In the past he has also worked at both large pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca and Wyeth, as well as biotech companies such as BioVex, Soligenix, and Onyx.
