CRO PPD names new laboratory services head

Executive Summary
Contract research manufacturer, PPD has appointed Dr David Johnston executive vice-president of its global laboratory services – which include the firm's bioanalytical, vaccines and biologics, current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) and central laboratories. Prior to joining Wilmington, North Carolina-based PPD, Dr Johnston was senior vice-president and head of global trials at LabCorp.
