Aesica appoints two new business managers

Executive Summary

Contract manufacturing organization Aesica has named Sven Thomas and David Ross business development managers – effective from 15 July. Their appointment is the next phase in the company’s international drive to increase sales from its integrated API, formulation development and manufacturing services. David Ross will focus on the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia whilst Sven Thomas will handle central and eastern Europe with a strong emphasis on expanding the level of business from Germany. Mr Thomas joins the UK-based firm from UCB. Meanwhile, Mr Ross previously worked in contract manufacturing for Patheon, Catalant and Ipsen. They, along with third business development manager Nicholas Micheaud – who has responsibility for south western Europe – will report to Jeremy Drummond, Aesica's sales director.
