New EFPIA code requires detailed disclosure of payments to healthcare professionals

The European industry federation EFPIA has released a new code that from 2015 will require member companies to disclose on their websites all payments or other transfers of value to healthcare professionals, such as consultancy fees and payments for travel, and the names of the beneficiaries.
