Executive Summary
It has been a little over a year since Merck Serono announced the closure of its Geneva, Switzerland-based headquarters and the dismissal of 1,250 employees. Now 943 members (approximately three quarters) of axed staff have secured other positions with the company or elsewhere. However, 280 struck-off employees remain jobless.
