Expert reviewers on the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) have recommended approval for the six-in-one pediatric vaccine Hexyon/Hexacima from Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi. The vaccine will be commercialized under the Hexyon brand name in Western Europe by Sanofi Pasteur MSD, a joint venture beween Sanofi Pasteur and Merck & Co's Merck Sharp & Dohme, and as Hexacima in Eastern Europe by Sanofi Pasteur on its own.
