Quintiles catches Pike as new CEO

Executive Summary

Quintiles has announced that Tom Pike will succeed Dr Dennis Gillings, the CRO's CEO and founder. Dr Gillings will continue as executive chairman of the Board of Directors. This appointment is part of the company’s long-term succession planning. Mr Pike brings 30 years of experience to Quintiles, having spent 22 years at Accenture, where his roles included leading the North America Health and Products business areas. Mr Pike joins Quintiles on 30 April 2012.
