Angel Biotechnology Holdings, a full service contract biomanufacturing partner to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, has appointed Dr Stewart White acting CEO following the resignation of Gordon Sherriff, Angel's COO. Dr White was originally recruited to Angel as commercial director in December 2011 with the view that he would progress to CEO in due course. Angel's board is confident Dr White's new role will be made permanent after an evaluation period. Dr White previously served in senior manufacturing and business development roles at Devro, an ex Johnson & Johnson company.
